Vessels carrying
dangerous goods are categorised according to the risk to persons on
board and the time within which full treatment on shore can be
given. These categories, as well as links to the relevant
sections of the online ordering system, can be found below.
Please note, if you
already carry any of the products listed on the pages below (e.g. if
you had them on board already or if you added them to your order
from another section of our site), then that number counts towards
the minimum requirements for your vessel.

Type A
Type A vessels are those which carry dangerous goods and will
undertake journeys where casualties cannot be hospitalized on shore
within 24 hours.

Type B
Type B vessels are those which carry dangerous goods and will
undertake journeys where casualties can be hospitalized on
shore within 24 hours.

Type C
Type C vessels are those which carry dangerous goods and will
undertake journeys where casualties can be hospitalized on
shore within 2 hours.
